Can groups be anonymous?

Yes. However, you must give us the social media links of each member when you sign up so we can have it in our records.

Can staff be in more than one group?

Yes, but we don't really recommend joining with more than one group. It's not good to stretch yourself too thin, especially if you're in other battles as well. Vocalists may NOT join more than one group, though.

Why is there a group cap for participants?

There is a maximum of 24 groups allowed to join because of the very nature and concept of our CB. Since there are anonymous youtaites who will be singing with a maximum of 2 groups and we only have 12 of them, we can only allow 24 groups to join. If we allow more than that, anonymous youtaites will have to sing past the currently allotted maximum of 2 groups and that's too much work for them to handle. Not only that, but if they had to sing for too many groups then there's a risk of them not having enough time to record for all of them. By putting a group cap, it ensures us that our precious anonymous youtaites don't overwork themselves and that you guys still receive quality recordings.

Can we submit an entry without singing with an anonymous youtaite?

You have to sing with the assigned anonymous Youtaite, but technically, you don't have to. However, it's the whole idea of this CB. If you don't, then there's no point in joining this CB when you can just join another one that's just a regular trio/quartet battle. There's also a penalty if you choose to not submit your script to us for our anon youtaite/choose to not sing with them. You will automatically lose 10 points off your total round score. 10 points can make or break you. In cases where one of the anonymous youtaites don't turn in their lines on time or at all, points will not be docked if you either leave out a vocal part or have to re-script/fill in for them because it is not the group's fault but that of the anonymous youtaite's fault. Rest assured that I will be keeping track of due dates for each group and get on their cases if they have yet to finish their parts!

Are we allowed to alter the anonymous youtaite's persona?

Hmm, that depends on how much you want to change it. General appearance should stay the same, but clothing and accessories can change according to the song (unless stated otherwise by the anonymous Youtaite in their profile).
